There is a free Amateur Radio Technician Class coming Jan 16 – March 13, 2025 and will be held Thursday evenings 6-10pm at the Jackson County Rescue Squad building.
Class if FREE, there is a $10 Exam Fee upon completion of the Class if you’re ready to test, upon passing your Exam the FCC will charge $35 to obtain your new Call Sign and that’s good for 10 years. No purchase of equipment is required to attend the class, however you might want to obtain a study guide.
