Staring the month off with 1st Saturday Breakfast at the Sylva McDonalds, we meet at 9am along the drive-thru wall of the dining room. All are welcome.
On our Thursday night repeater net at 7pm the 13th we will add a Simplex Net portion in an effort to see what our direct footprint is. Please program 146.520MHz into your radio to participate, results will be discussed the 15th at our meeting.
Next up is our Monthly Meeting at the Jackson County Rec Center, that will be the 15th at 9am. Come through the new front doors, turn left and then turn left again. This month’s topic will be ClubComms or how we as a club can apply our radio skills in an Emergency.
We’ve added a Lunch to our monthly meet-ups, this month we will meet on Tuesday the 18th at Roger Bro.s in Cullowhee. Look for us in the sun room area and bring any laptops, small radio’s, that you might need help with. After we eat this is a good chance for some hands on elmering. Again, all are welcome.
