We are the Jackson County Amateur Radio Service (JCARS) a Ham Radio club located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We meet monthly for an Amateur Radio Tech Talk. All those interested in learning about Ham Radio or are already licensed are encouraged to attend one of our meet-ups. We have a club VHF repeater and our club members support DMR, Packet and APRS systems.
