    The next JCARS meeting will be at the Jackson County Recreation Center at 0900. This is a last minute change due to conflict meetings for the EOC Manager.

    The JCARS June meeting will be on June 18th at the Jackson County Recreation Center at 0900. Any ham or anyone interested in becoming a ham radio operator is welcome. Our program will be “DMR”. If you have any questions on DMR this will be your opportunity to ask the expert.

    JCARS will have a booth set up along the railroad tracks at location D6 for this event in Sylva. We will be between the Farmers Market and the church. Stop by and check us out or just to say “hello”. Next meeting will be on May 14, 2016.

    Our program for March 19th with feature Al Sanders giving a presentation on ham radio antennas. His program will start off with 2 meters and 70 CM’s and proceed into HF antennas, questions and time permitting. There will be valuable information for all levels of operators.
